The 2019/2020 year started as a year would normally, however things then went a little odd with wood prices and the advent of the Covid-19 virus. Whilst the virus did have and continues to have some serious consequences for many of us, the forests enjoyed the sunshine and continued to grow. The drought currently affecting the country is not really of concern to the forests, although we did prohibit access to them due to the risk of fire. Now that the autumn/winter rains begin, we have opened the forests once again for those that venture this way to enjoy.
