Wow!! What a year. From the highs of 2007 to the lows of 2008 and further woes in 2009. It’s recession time!!. The Kyoto legislation (ETS) was passed late in the year and some certainty and confidence was established, then a new government was elected and just as quickly reviews and uncertainty reigned. We will go into the ETS topic in more detail in the Newsletter. However through all this change and mayhem your trees have continued to prosper.
The weather gods have been kind over the 2008/09 summer with rain on demand, very little wind and almost tropical temperatures. Ideal growing conditions which your trees have enjoyed. Growth rates and forest health continue to be excellent.
